SALES & MARKETING COORDINATOR


The Position:





Development and implementation of a marketing and sales plan to meet
target revenues and occupancies for the hotel rooms.

Consultation with the board of directors to monitor effectiveness of the proposed plan.

Responsibilities:






















Develop a sales and marketing strategy with a detailed implementation
plan for the hotel.

Identify and solicit new clients or target groups and follow through on potential business.

Organize and conduct sales campaigns.

Develop new accounts as well as promote existing business to meet/exceed revenue goals.

Develop and execute action plan with occupancy and activity quotas.

Prepare sales reports and track activities.

Manage/direct advertising, public relations and promotional activities.

Prepare or supervise web projects for social media

Provide administration support for reservation desk


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:













Professional, highly organized individual.

Previous sales and/or marketing experience.

Hospitality industry background and/or Diploma in Hotel Management
an asset.

Budgetary analysis capabilities and experience.

Excellent computer skills.

Social media savvy.


 
Hours of work:
  FLEXIBLE 30 hour per week
Starting salary - $15 per hour
Must be eligible for Wage Subsidy Program*
*



Eligible participants must be unemployed, legally entitled to work in Canada and have an attachment to Employment Insurance, which the program coordinator can determine.
